Guys

An unexpected pregnancy can leave you with a lot of questions.

What should you do next? How can you support your partner? What will becoming a father mean for your future?

You do not have to figure it out alone. Our men’s mentoring program offers a confidential and supportive place to talk with someone who understands the responsibilities, questions, and concerns men may face during pregnancy and fatherhood.

What Should I Do If She Thinks She Is Pregnant?

Stay calm and listen

Your partner may be experiencing many different emotions. Give her time to talk, listen to her concerns, and let her know she does not have to face the situation alone.

Encourage her to confirm the pregnancy

A missed period does not always mean pregnancy. Encourage her to take a pregnancy test and schedule an appointment to receive accurate information and discuss the next steps.

Learn about your options together

Take time to gather reliable information before making decisions. We can answer questions and help you both better understand your options and available resources.

Avoid pressure

This is an important and personal decision. Let her know you care about her and are willing to talk through the situation without pressuring her.

Find support for yourself

Your questions and concerns matter too. Talking with a male mentor can help you work through what you are feeling and prepare for the decisions and responsibilities ahead.

Fatherhood Lessons and One-on-One Support

Becoming a good father does not mean having all the answers. It means being willing to learn, grow, and be present.

Our men’s program includes:

  • One-on-one mentoring with an experienced father

  • Practical fatherhood lessons

  • Guidance for supporting your partner

  • Information about pregnancy, parenting, and infant care

  • Help understanding the responsibilities of fatherhood

  • Encouragement as you prepare for the future

Lessons provide practical examples and advice based on the real situations fathers may face. They are designed to be easy to follow and may be completed at your own pace.

Your Role Matters

You may feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or unprepared, but your involvement can make a meaningful difference.

Whether you are preparing for your first child or simply need someone to talk with, we are here to support you as you take the next step.
